Quantum Learning Workshops
Patti Brucki and Rachael Poorman will be offereing a number of Quantum Learning workshops for parents. QL includes an instructional design, delivery method, and effective strategies for presentation, facilitation, learning and life skills. QL also sets high standards for content cognition. This comprehensive model is effective across all ability levels of students and is applicable to all subjects and grades. QL trains teachers in effective facilitation that supports learning and classroom management.
Some of the topics that they will cover include: · Building positive relationships and communication skills · The secrets of the teenage brain · How to boost your memory · Motivating your teen to succeed · Study Skills *It is important to note that this is not a complete list, but will expand after meeting with the representatives from the buildings and a needs assessment has been given to parents. I am also thinking about creating a one day PARENT UNIVERSITY…a daylong event for parents with a number of workshops and seminars offered…sort of like attending a conference. |
