PROPOSED Volunteer Policy
Important Message from Thornton
Township High School District 205
During the months of June, July and early August each
school in District 205 (Thornton Thornwood and Thornridge) will undergo
Asbestos Abatement Construction in several isolated areas
of the buildings. Each building has posted warning signs.
Please read the signs when entering and working in the buildings.
Asbestos abatement will be completed in each building on a rotating
basis while classes are NOT IN SESSION.
All required permits
and documentation are on file with the Regional Office of Education and
the District 205 Buildings and Grounds Department. For more information

Summer School Graduation
The 2007-2008 Summer School Graduation will be held Friday, July 11,
2008 at 10:00 a.m. in the Thornton Township High School Auditorium.
Guest speaker will be Dr. J. Kamala Buckner, District 205 Superintendent
of Schools.
