T-BIRDS TAKE FLIGHT: Thornwood High School’s AVID Summer Enrichment Program

“Pipeline to AVID, AP, and IB”

    Who are we?

T-Birds Take Flight is Thornwood High School’s AVID Summer Enrichment Program. Research shows that students who do not participate in enrichment programs during the summer actually lose the learning acquired over the course of the previous school year. The program is designed to provide incoming and current freshmen with intensive character development and rigorous academic instruction in order to ensure that students do not lose the knowledge that they gained the previous year, and to ensure that students are prepared to the academic and social rigor of high school. We are T-Birds Take Flight; we will help your child “soar to graduation” and college and career readiness.
