Anatomy and Physiology On March 19, 2007 Mrs. Tufts took her Thornridge Anatomy & Physiology classes to visit Rush Medical College to participate in human cadaver dissection. The students worked with doctors and medical students taking care to handle body parts appropriately. Students then moved to an operating room to view surgery in progress. An emergency room simulator gave them the opportunity to respond to the needs of an injured model patient. Further, the students attended a seminar of medical and nursing students; this gave the students the forum they needed to ask questions of students currently preparing for their careers. Mrs. Tufts and her students wish to thank Kim McNamara for joining them on the field trip.
