Bridge Contest Part Deux

Mr. Sievers two PreAP physics classes had their own bridge contest. Students built bridges according to the strict IIT 2008 bridge guidelines and broke them in class. The bridges were rated according to efficiency and they applied scientific knowledge and technological design in building the bridges. Approximately 60% of the bridges built had efficiencies of 500 or more. Shina Parker’s bridge held the greatest mass (27 kg) and it had the highest efficiency of over 1300 from both classes. It was a great experience and fun was had by all.
