Work for this year has started back up at the house in Harvey. On 9/15 Mr. Sievers accompanied 3 students from Thornridge High School, Jerome Knight, Keith Watt and Douglass Bright to begin the footing work for a deck at the rear of the house. The students and Mr. Sievers had to dig BY HAND 4 holes that were 12” in diameter and (by code) 42” deep. The work was completed in approximately 2 hours. This was an amazing effort and the students had a good time. After the work was finished, students were treated to lunch and certainly earned it. This work was in preparation for concrete that is to be poured on 9/22.
