Habitat for Humanity III

On 1/13 Mr. Brian Sievers accompanied seven students from Thornridge High School to a house sponsored by Habitat for Humanity that is being built in our district . This house is located in Harvey IL and is a "new" construction house. The students Kaila Dockery, Biaanca Evans, Kierra Barnett, Max Frazier, DeShawn Benn, Codero Woods, and Tykeith King worked unloading a truck loaded with framing material, organizing the job site by stacking lumber and sweeping water out of the basement. The students did an outstanding job of working and representing Thornridge High School and fun was had by all. Mr. David Tracey from Habitat for Humanity mailed the students H4H T-shirts for their efforts on the 13th. Another trip is planned for March 3rd.
