Habitat for Humanity IV

On 3/3/07 Mr. Sievers and 7 students from Thornridge HS braved temperatures in the 20's to work at the Habitat for Humanity house located in Harvey, IL. Doni Boston, Kierra Bishop, Tameka Kelley, Alexia Newbern, Siarra Cooper, Marlon Taylor and Donovan Nash did an outstanding job despite the cold temperatures and snow flurries. The students moved over 300 pieces of lumber into the basement, helped remove ice from the basement, clean up the job site and they also helped by cutting framing material for the roof joists. They did an oustanding job in representing District 205 and fun was had by all.
