ITC Equipment
  • The Instructional Technology Center makes it our goal to provide teachers with access to AV Equipment and Computer Hardware which will enhance teaching learning and student achievement.
  • Digital Imaging
  • We have a wide variety of digital devices for technology integration into your curriculum. Click here if you want to know more.
  • Computers
  • ITC has two wireless pods of laptop computers (one first floor, one second floor) which can be checked out from ITC and used in your classroom or teaching area. They contain Microsoft Office XP and have a wireless connection to the internet. Click here for more info.
  • Alpha Smarts are a cart of word processors with a printer that can facilitate students' writing. Currently we have one cart housed in the Introductory House resource room, one in ITC and one cart in Special Programs.
  • A Windows 2000 computer and high volume laser printer has been installed in the Faculty Lounge for your computing and printing convenience.
  • Two Windows XP machines have been place in each of the House workrooms for staff to use while not in the classroom.
  • The library now houses two complete labs of thirty Win 2000 and XP computers. See the librarians, Lisa Joseph and Ivy Brigham to schedule classes for these areas. You will need to fill out a project plan prior to signing up.  The librarians will be happy to assist you in planning your activity.
  • You are always welcome to come to ITC to scan, to print or to compute.

We can map your computer to print to any of a number of zones. Contact your AV Guy if you want to print to the Math, Science, Social Science, ITC, B-210 or Faculty Lounge printers.

Presentation Devices

You have several choices for making presentations. Video monitors (large TVs) can be used for video, DVD or computer presentations. Video projectors, which display on a screen in a dimly lit environment, are often the choice for larger groups or for detailed presentations with text or intricate graphics. You may check out a Destination unit which is a computer and large monitor on one cart.

TV/VCRs are in the House and departmental areas as well as in ITC.  Soon we will be booking equipment through Alexandria, but for the mean time you will need to E-mail Nancy or stop by ITC to make an equipment reservation.
