This lab used potato cannons in which students launched taters from various angles.  They then marked and measured the location of where the potatoes landed.  The potato-launching experiment is just one that you'll conduct in physics class to measure velocity, gas expansion rates, and the amount of physical work involved in pushing potatoes down a tube.
