| Your Instructional Technology Staff is here to provide you with service to support your teaching. We believe our service and support will positively impact your student's learning and achievement. In order to provide you with the best service, it's best to know who to ask for what. Nancy Ahlstedt - "The Goddess of AV" Nancy runs this office. Most equipment and media is ordered using Alexandria, our new media booking system. However, if you need a special piece of equipment or media, or if for some extenuating reason you were unable to plan two days ahead, Nancy is the one to ask. Don't know how to use Alexandria, Nancy will kindly and gently show you how. Nancy's other service virtues include: laminating, map finding, recipe research... Rob Nerius - "AV Guy" Rob wears both the traditional AV Guy and the Building Technology Coordinator hats. He is at Thornridge on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. He is at Thornton on Tuesdays and Fridays. As the AV Guy, Rob will help you with any instructional media issue you might have: VCR troubles, video taping, audio recording, etc. Rob will work with you on lesson planning using technology. He will work with you and your students in your classroom, in the library or in any of the labs. Just fill out a District 205 Media Services Project Form or stop by ITC. As the Building Technology Coordinator, Rob will assist you or your department in planning and making technology purchases. All purchases must conform to the Technology Plan and must contribute directly to improved teaching, learning and student achievement. Rob is also the building's web master. He and his Student web master coordinate the design and posting of departmental, activity, athletic and individual web pages. Rob offers an ongoing web design study group by appointment.
