Thornton Township High School has two Automotive Technology Shops.  The Vocational Auto Shop is taught by Mr. Messer.  The students are trained in simple to complex jobs.  Upon completion of this two year program, the students are prepared for entry level employment in the automotive industry. Throughout Thornton's long history, thousands of Thornton Automotive students have gained employment in the automotive industry.
