*ALLOW 5 TO 7 DAYS FOR PROCESSING AN APPLICATION*
STUDENT RESPONSIBILITY:
1. REQUEST AN APPLICATION FROM THE COLLEGE/VOCATIONAL SCHOOL, by MAIL, TELEPHONE, OR COLLEGE WEBSITE.
2. COMPLETE A “TRANSCRIPT REQUEST FORM” FOR EACH APPLICATION. IF YOU ARE NOT 18 YEARS OF AGE, PARENT’S MUST SIGN. TAKE FORM TO THE BOOKSTORE TO GET STAMPED-THE BOOKSTORE WILL NOT STAMP FORMS IF YOU OWE FEES. THE FIRST THREE TRANSCRIPT REQUESTS ARE FREE. ANY TRANSCRIPT REQUESTS AFTER, WILL COST THREE DOLLARS PER TRANSCRIPT. TRANSCRIPT REQUEST FORMS CAN BE FOUND IN EITHER THE COLLEGE/CAREER CENTER OR THE REGISTRAR’S OFFICE.
3. IF YOU NEED A “LETTER OF RECOMMENDATION”, GET A STUDENT PROFILE FORM FROM MRS. JONES IN THE COLLEGE AND CAREER CENTER. GIVE STUDENT PROFILE FORM TO A TEACHER, COUNSELOR, OR COACH. WHEN MAKING A REQUEST, GIVE AT LEAST A TWO WEEK ADVANCE NOTICE.
COMPLETING COLLEGE APPLICATIONS:
COLLEGE APPLICATION PROCESS-ONLINE VERSION*Complete your portion of the application- check spelling, grammar, AND punctuation.
*Read instructions twice and follow the directions exactly.
*Always use a practice sheet before submitting essays.
*If you have free or reduced lunch and a payment is needed, you MIGHT have to do a paper
application and counselor will provide waiver, otherwise pay online with a credit card.
*If there is a counselor page, print and take it to your counselor.
*If you have letters of recommendation and transcripts, put them with the counselor
page.
*Mail all supporting documents directly to the college- either through the registrar’s
office or through regular U.S. mail.

*Read instructions twice and follow the directions exactly
*Always use a practice sheet before submitting essays.
*If you have free or reduced lunch and a payment is needed your counselor will provide a waiver, otherwise attach a check or money order made payable to the college
*If there is a counselor page, leave it blank (counselor will complete this section when they review your application).
*If you have letters of recommendation, add them to your transcripts and application.
*Mail all supporting documents directly to the college- either through the registrar’s or through regular U.S. mail.
