Dear Members of the Thornton Township High School District 205 Community:

On March 13, 2023, representatives of the Board of Education and Faculty Association of District 205 met for the parties’ first bargaining session. The two sides agreed to ground rules for the negotiations. Those rules may be found here:

The Faculty Association also rejected the Board’s January 23, 2023 package proposal without providing a counterproposal.

The parties will next meet again on April 3, 2023, from 4:00 – 7:00 PM.
