Teacher skill development is primary to enhancing student achievement (Marzano and Waters, 2009). This skill development is best accomplished through a professional development system that encourages, supports, and recognizes teacher expertise.
The Professional Development Committee recognizes that our expertise development is a work in progress. We strive to improve our practice through a process of repeated development augmented through feedback of peers, administration, and website visitors.
