Fred Bilotto

Fred Bilotto holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Education from Saint Xavier University and Educational Administration from Governors State University with a Masters of Arts Degree.

For twelve years, Fred taught Social Studies at Thornton Township High School in Harvey, Illinois.  While at Thornton Township High School, he was involved in various committees and positions at the high school level, district level, and regionally.

Fred Bilotto is very involved in his hometown of Blue Island, Illinois, serving as Mayor and other positions within the city and township.  He is a Certified Illinois Assessing Officer for the State of Illinois and serves on his children’s school board, and Chairman of his church’s finance and festival committees. 

Fred has been happily married to his wife, Stephanie, for many years, and together they have three children.  Fred enjoys spending time with his family, rehabbing properties, restoring antique cars, traveling, and of course, eating.

Mr. Gus Yiakos

Gus Yiakos holds a Bachelor of Science in Health/PE/Drivers Education from Eastern Illinois University, a Master’s Degree in Educational Administration from Chicago State University and a Master’s of Science Degree from Eastern Illinois University.
 
Starting in 2021, Gus was appointed as the Division Leader over PE/Health/DE/FCS. Prior to that, Gus was a Health/PE/DE teacher and athletic trainer for 25 years at Thornwood and other high schools. While at Thornwood High School, he sponsored and coached a variety of extracurricular activities. He continues to work on improving all curricula that he oversees to better serve our students.
 
Gus has been happily married to his wife, Tina, for over 24 years, and together they have one son.  Gus enjoys spending time with his family and friends, traveling to Greece to visit family, playing various sports, and, of course, cooking.
