District 205 Remote Learning Plan

  • Governor J.B. Pritzker has allowed Illinois school districts to make their own decisions about how they want to go about reopening their schools in the fall! As this is a very serious and complex issue for our community, District 205 took the time to hear from our parents and community on what District 205 should do regarding fall reopening. On Monday, July 27th, District 205 Superintendent Dr. Nathaniel Cunningham Jr. made a formal recommendation to the Board of Education that all District 205 schools should continue remote learning in the fall of 2020.This recommendation was made after carefully considering the current COVID-19 situation in the state of Illinois, the safety of our communities, and overwhelming public response. The Board of Education has approved this recommendation and all District 205 schools will be continuing remote learning in the fall of 2020.

District 205 has created our 2020 remote learning plan that will ensure that each and every student will have every tool they need to be successful in the classroom. Please review this plan with your child to ensure that everyone is on the same page and ready to attack this 2020 school year!
