The Academic Counselor helps students and families understand where students are academically, what credits are still needed, and what steps must be taken to move toward graduation. At Outlook Academy, counseling support is focused on helping students create a clear plan for school success and life after high school.
How I Support Students and Families
- Review student transcripts and graduation progress.
- Help students understand credit requirements and what they still need to graduate.
- Support course planning, class placement, and credit recovery planning.
- Communicate with students and families about academic standing.
- Help students set goals and develop a plan for graduation.
- Support planning for college, career, trade school, military, employment, and other post-secondary options.
- Provide guidance related to scholarships, FAFSA, career pathways, and next steps after high school.
When to Contact Me
Families and students should contact the Academic Counselor when they have questions about credits, graduation requirements, course progress, future planning, or academic next steps.

Student Success Planning
Every student’s path is different. The goal is to help each student understand their current progress, identify what still needs to be completed, and create a realistic plan for finishing strong. Families are encouraged to stay connected and use PowerSchool regularly to monitor grades, attendance, and academic progress.
Student Intake & Exit Forms
All students are referred to Outlook Academy by their home school counselor.
