Mission & Vision Statement

Mission and Vision

Outlook Academy is a student-centered alternative education program designed to support learners who have experienced challenges achieving success in traditional school settings. The program provides a structured, non-traditional environment focused on academic recovery, personalized instruction, and post-secondary readiness. Outlook Academy is committed to ensuring that every student has a clear pathway toward graduation and a viable plan for college, career, or military service.

At Outlook Academy, instruction is guided by individualized academic plans that begin at enrollment and continue through program completion, ensuring continuity of support and alignment with long-term goals. Students are served by a highly experienced and dedicated staff who prioritize relationship-based instruction, targeted academic intervention, and skill development. The program emphasizes personalized learning pathways, focused academic direction, and the development of transferable college and career competencies.

Outlook Academy’s model extends beyond credit attainment. Comprehensive post-secondary planning is embedded into each student’s program experience. Students participate in ACT testing and/or retesting as part of their academic plan, and each student completes the program with an established post-graduation pathway that supports enrollment, enlistment, and/or employment outcomes.

The Outlook Academy program reflects the district’s commitment to equity, access, and student success by providing responsive educational structures that enable all learners to build competence, confidence, and measurable achievement.
