Supporting Student Success

I provide the academic, behavioral, social-emotional, and linguistic supports students need to ensure equitable access to the curriculum and opportunities for success. By meeting students where they are, I help guide them on their path toward earning a high school diploma.
Philosophy & Approach
I meet students where they are and tailor my approach to each learner’s individual needs. I lead with empathy, trauma-informed practices, and restorative strategies to support our diverse student population. Every student brings a unique story and lived experience, and I honor that context in order to educate and support them effectively.
Favorite Part of Working at Outlook
I love seeing our students grow in a variety of ways from the time they come to us until they leave. They utilize the resources we provide to catch up on their credits and address the issues that caused them to fall behind in the first place. The work is special and rewarding even on the hardest days.
Professional Interests / Fun Fact
Outside of teaching, I foster young, sick, or injured animals for a local shelter until they are ready for forever homes.
