Philosophy & Approach
My teaching philosophy is grounded in the belief that all students can grow when they feel respected, challenged, and supported. I show support by listening to their ideas, giving clear and timely feedback, celebrating growth, and being available when they struggle.

Course Descriptions
Statistics
The Statistics course provides a practical, hands-on approach to the study of statistics and probability. Students learn how to collect, organize, and analyze data using a variety of graphical displays, including histograms, stem-and-leaf plots, time plots, and scatter plots. The course emphasizes the use of numerical measures such as mean, median, and standard deviation to describe and interpret data sets and distributions.
Instruction focuses on real-world applications, helping students develop the skills needed to critically evaluate statistical information found in surveys, election polls, and medical and scientific studies. By the end of the course, students are better prepared to interpret data accurately and become informed, thoughtful consumers of statistical information.
