Role at Outlook Academy
My role at Outlook Academy is teaching Social Studies. I support students by consistently integrating social-emotional learning (SEL) activities into my classroom. My responsibilities include teaching three classes during the school day and leading after-school Credit Recovery four days a week from 4:30–6:30 p.m.

Philosophy & Approach
Working with high school students requires empathy. I work intentionally to create a classroom that feels inviting, calm, and supportive. I also believe it’s essential to connect with students and understand where they are mentally and emotionally, so we can build strong, positive relationships that help them grow and succeed.
 
I work hard to be approachable and accessible, and I welcome students at any time if they come to me needing support of any kind.
