Role at Outlook Academy

As Assistant Program Administrator at Outlook Academy, my primary focus is to support both students and staff daily, ensuring our school runs smoothly and effectively. I address student discipline matters, coordinate transportation needs, and oversee building and grounds concerns to ensure a safe, organized, and supportive learning environment. My role is centered on helping remove barriers, solving problems, and making sure students and staff have the support they need to be successful. I work to support students as whole individuals and help ensure their needs are met to the best of our ability. By providing guidance, support, and access to resources, we help place students in the best possible position to learn, grow, and be successful.

Each student learns differently and brings a unique set of needs. To support student success, it is essential to assess each student individually and coordinate targeted academic and social-emotional interventions. In short, we meet students where they are and do what it takes to help them grow into the successful learners they are capable of becoming.

Although I am responsible for discipline, I also serve as a source of social and emotional support for our students. I work closely with our team to support students who have experienced various forms of trauma and to connect them with the care and resources they need.
