A Notice for Families with Students who are Disabled, English Learners, Home-Schooled, or Attend Private High School

Thornton Township High Schools District 205 Timely and Meaningful Consultation:
This notice is for families with students who have disabilities and/or who are English Learners who are home-schooled or who attend a private high school in the district.
On Wednesday, May 31, 2023, District 205 will complete individual phone conferences with families of students with disabilities by appointment. The purpose of these phone conferences will be to discuss the district’s plans for providing special education services to students with disabilities who are home-schooled or attend private high schools within the District for the 2023-2024 school year. In addition, please plan to call for an appointment if you have a student who is identified as an English Learner who attends private high schools within the District for the 2023-2024 school year.
If you are a parent of a home-schooled student, who has been identified with an IEP/disability or an English Language Learner, and you reside within the boundaries of District 205, you are urged to make an appointment today.
