On behalf of the Board of Education and administration I am proud to announce that Mrs. Ebonie Williams was appointed principal of Thornridge High School at the July 13, 2016 regular meeting of the Board of Education. Over the past 16 years, Mrs. Ebonie Williams has served school communities as a teacher, course team leader, dean, and assistant principal. She began her career with the Chicago Public Schools as an English teacher, and in 2008, Mrs. Williams joined District 205 as an assistant principal at Thornton Township High School. Mrs. Williams looks forward to serving the entire Thornridge High School learning community as their instructional leader.
I would like to thank the principal selection committee that worked very hard over the last six weeks to select the best possible individual to lead Thornridge High School. Please join me in congratulating and welcoming Mrs. Williams to her new position and Thornridge High School.
